Sarita Devi fully justified in her action.

Every time we witness an injustice and do not act ,we train our character to be passive, and thereby eventually lose our ability to defend ourselves and those we love.

Anybody who watched the boxing clout would say Sarita Devi was the clear winner, against her South Korean opponent,Jina Park where she was denied a victory and had to settle for a bronze.

In the podium,Sarita refused to accept her medal and put it on the South Korean player.Sarita fully justified in showing the injustice done to her, after her appeal was turned down.Sarita action was fully sportive.

The Indian officials instead of lodging a strong protest against the judges and supporting Sarita, were demanding disciplinary action against Sarita.

I request the Indian Prime Minister to intervene and immediately suspend the officials who did not support the Indian boxer's hard work and effort .

India should also lodge a strong protest against the judges with the AIBA and the OCA.

Tere bin jiya jaye naa

When did you say you are leaving?
You never said a Good bye ,
When did you  say you would leave me alone
You never said either a good bye neither wave your hand.
You left me alone in crisis and went away
Why did you leave me alone ?
Why did you leave me alone ?

The room was filled with darkness,
I was waiting for you, to light the lamp of brightness,
You went back, the way you came in,
i never wanted you to go
I never wanted you to go

I never knew of your leaving neither your arrival
Why did you leave?
Why did you leave?

I wanted you not to  go, but for me to come to you
Why did you go?
Why did you go?

Did you not have enough power to fight the world
And Come back for me
And Come back for me
I have lots of things to share and speak about.

Come back
Come back.

Role of films in Society

What sells is getting made,if  better products are made it would be sold more

Films are a reflection of the society. It reflects where the society stands and heading towards which direction.

A hit film shows the sense and sensibilities of the people who see the movie which in turn reflect that of the society. A films mirrors where and what the people think, dream and imagine.

Apart from providing an entertainment value, films also have a responsibility to the society. The filmmakers have a responsibility to bring about a change in the sensibilities of the people for the better.

In kerela at a certain point in time shakeela films were doing more business than main stream films, showing  their diversion in sensibilities clearly.Today the shakeela film industry have been destroyed completely by main stream cinema making better cinemas by better writers and directors.

Filmmakers, superstars stand a responsibilty for making better cinema.Films are a depiction of the society, its values, thinking and imagination. It should show what happens in the society more than making money, only then would a nation align itself to greater heights.

The current jonder of cinemas being made in bollywood is complete crap.Mainstream bollywood superstars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh khan should act in films that win critical acclaim as they have a huge fan following.

Better films like a Escape From Uganda or  Urmi (both Malayalam movie)can  only come with better people(talent),so there has to be an investment of time and effort on script writers, music directors and directors.

The role of India in the world is not to spread sexuality but spiritulism.

Amazing and effective Journalism by Sreenivasan Jain

The truth is like a lion. You don't have to defend it.Let it loose. It will defend itself.

In this era of fast and breaking news Sreenivasan Jain seems to have mastered the art of immaculate and spectacular journalism.

His recent reporting from the Gaza strip about the Israel and the Palestine confict has been simply amazing.

The interview of a 10 year old Mohammad from Al-Shifha hospital in Gaza ,appealing to the world for the right to live peacefully and with freedom like every other child in the world has been simply moving.

The element of truth has been brought out.The question of how many Israelis have been killed ,have been unanswered, whereas the Israelis seems to have targeted innocent children ,women and civilians in large nos.

The theory that Hamas having superior weapons has also been drowned, with it having home made weapons to defend itself whereas the Israelis having high end weapons to attack pointed targets.

This type of true journalism deserves all the accolades and appreciation in this age of hype and breaking news.

In this age of media sensationalism where truth has faded, hype has taken over true journalism, this seems to bring a breadth of fresh air.

Hope this sets the trend for other news channels and journalists to follow.

Should women be given freedom?

Freedom cannot be achieved unless the women have been emancipated from all forms of oppression. - Nelson Mandela

The scriptures (Manu-samhita)say
'Women should not be given freedom, that does not mean they should be treated as slaves'.

They should be treated as children.Children are not given freedom, that does not mean they are treated as slaves. They are to be protected by the father in the young age,by the husband in the youth stage and by the children in the old age.

Absence of freedom does not mean bonded labour.
Women empowerment through financial independence and protection of women should be a top priority. In today's world they have rejected the scriptures and think that women should be given as much freedom as men.The moral condition of women has neither improved or has the world become any better.

Should women be given reservation?

Yes women should be given  reservation in places where women empowerment is a direction.Places like skill development.Places where representation of women is less that the necessary levels, women, should be empowered ,to make better decisions.

India should have hit back post 26/11

A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.

India is a strong  and powerful nation.India's strength comes from within  not from outside or its military strength. Its essence is based on spiritual lines.Love and compassion  form the root of this nation.Tolerance has been  India's mantra for ages.

India is a peace loving country.but does peace mean one doesn't protect  its people.India should have hit back at Pakistan post 26/11 when the Taj was brunt down by Pak sponsored terrorists .Peace cannot be established when the people of the country are attacked brutally.By not acting decisively India got reflected as a weak nation.Had India hit back it would have been more peaceful.

India lost out on an opportunity to hit back, and establish itself as a strong nation. The supreme court of Pakistan also released the mastermind of 26/11,  Hafiz Sayeed, without any punishment. And the United States kept looking .US follows a policy of double standards.Where do the US backed ,Pakistan based militants get all their weapons from? Who sponsors it?

Is violence justified?Yes it is, to protect  people of the nation from evil forces.

Would you not smash a person who attacks your child?
Does a Guru not break the bones of a person who even touches his disciple?
Does a leader not protect his followers?

If one does not act against such incidents it would repeat itself again.

A  leader takes people where they want to go,a great leader takes people where they don't want to go but ought to be.

Garbage Collection

Cleanliness is next to godliness.

Everybody dreams of a clean India but nobody  is ready to get its act together neither the people nor the government.
We have overflowing dustbins, stinky toilets and unclean surroundings.Don't we want to have a clean environment,a clean environment makes everyone happy and energetic whereas an unclean surrounding makes everyone feel sick and unhappy.
India has a rich heritage and culture but our cleanliness levels have a lot to be desired when compared to other countries like Japan and USA.where people clean up their surroundings without any prejudice.

The current PM seems to have got his priorities right and making the right noises on cleanliness but the actions seems to have a lot to be desired.Garbage collection should  be made a separate ministry and employ skilled labour. The government seems to be having a lacklustre approach therefore the idea of outsouring it to private entities seems to be in the right direction.

Nearer home litter is scattered around the dustbin and the dustbin is empty as if it is an idol of Lord Ganesha,as people dont make the effort to throw it inside the bins. There should be sign boards asking people to thow litter inside the dustbins otherwise a fine should be levied.

Let us all pledge to make India a happy ,prosperous and clean nation.
