Thirst-Water a precious resource

Happiness lies for those who cry, those who hurt ,those  who have searched ,and those who have tried for only they can appreciate the importance of people who have touched their lives.-Victor Hugo

Its scary to imagine our lives without water

Its more scary to imagine our lives without drinking water.

Its even more scary to imagine death due to lack of drinking water or thirst.

The reality is more than thousands of villages live without water.

Forget the villages even few cities have to struggle to get water.

In drought affected areas the amount of water is even more scarce.

In scarcity there is snatching and mental unrest.

There are rivers and there are dams, but there is no water.

The effort of Salman Khan, NGO, Being Human is credible ,in supplying  200 tankers of water to drought  affected  villages.

How is it that an NGO is able to do this and why is the ruling party not  able to find effective means to find lasting solutions ?

What is the ruling party doing about it?
What is being done to reduce wastage of water?
What happened to the project of interconnecting  rivers across India?

These are questions that need  to be asked and answered.
