“A coach is someone who can give correction without causing resentment.” -John Wooden
Indian batsmen seems to have lost concentration and their technique seems to have been deteriorating which was very much evident in the test series vs England. There way to come out of the poor form seems to be through slogging, saying that to be their natural style ,rather than concentrating on their technique as is evident in the case as Shikhar Dhawan,Virat Kolhi and Ravinder Jadeja.

This calls for special attention and a
batsmen with strong technique is required to be the Indian coach, and who better than Rahul Dravid.
MS Dhoni’s, is still the best Indian
captain. But his selection of playing 11 seems to be sometimes baffling.Jadeja’s
selection over Rohit Sharma and omission of India’s best bowler R Ashwin seems
to be baffling.
Dunchan Fletcher seems to be more of a spectator,
following Dhoni’s instruction’s rather than the other way round.
To rescue India’s cricketing phobia, I
think Rahul Dravid appointment as coach would be in the right direction as for
transforming Indian batsmen’s mindset and thus making their technique stronger.
